Is James Cameron's Avatar an Overrated Mess?

Ever since Disney’s purchase of 20th Century Fox, one topic that keeps coming up from every entertainment outlet is James Cameron’s Avatar. How will the purchase affect the sequels? Will Disney World be expanding Pandora in the Animal Kingdom now that they no longer pay royalties to Fox for it? Will the four…wait…yes, FOUR planned sequels expand into a full series or will their budgets get any bigger? However, the one question that no one seems to want to ask right now is, “was Avatar actually any good?” Yes, it was a technical marvel & a massive leap forward in CGI technology, but what about the story or the cinematography or directing? Was it really a good MOVIE or was it just a very pretty looking spectacle? That is the question we hope to answer in today’s edition of Does It Still Hold Up!
