Harry Potter Escape Room at Dallas Fan Days
One of the unique attractions at this year’s Dallas Fan Days is the Harry Potter Escape Room, presented by Portable Escapes, LLC. Appearing at many of the Fan Expo conventions, Portable Escapes provides easily consumable escape room experiences that are fun for the whole family! For this particular convention, they brought out two Harry Potter inspired rooms: Escape from Philomena's Vault, & M.E.D.U.S.A. saves New York. Each are single room puzzles that last about 30 minutes. Aside from their portable nature, what makes these rooms particularly unique is that they are also easily accessible to the special needs community. They are setup with enough space to make the rooms easily wheelchair accessible, the staff is available to assist with clues to accommodate all developmental levels, & the rooms are quiet, with soft lighting, to make them sensory friendly.
While this is the last public event that they will be exhibiting at this year, they are already preparing to start fresh in early 2019! So, if you will be attending a Fan Expo event that Portable Escapes will be featured at, be sure to book your time slots as soon as they open the online sign-up list. Spots fill up quickly, so the sooner you can book your time slot, the better!
