For those of you who have been following us for a while, you may remember that our very first interview at a convention was with MCubed Cosplay. Well, for this year’s Dallas Fan Days, we finally had a chance to catch up with her to see what she’s been up to since February! If you missed that interview, she’s a local cosplayer here in North Texas who does some fantastic work creating screen accurate costumes for the characters that she embodies & has received an immense amount of attention for her pin-up & boudoir photoshoots. In fact, her pin-up Rey shoot, aka “side-boob Rey”, which was inspired by the work of Russian artist Andrew Tarusov, has become so popular that she is literally the first two images that come up when you google either side-boob Rey or pin-up Rey.

Over the course of this year, she has been keeping an impressive pace with both her content creations as well as the conventions that she has attended, both as an official guest, as well as for fun. If you are a subscriber of hers on Patreon, none of this will be all that surprising as she does a fantastic job of keeping her fans informed about everything she is doing. Whether that is showing off the progress of her latest cosplay builds or giving early access to her many photoshoots, her fans know that her best assets as a creator are her intense dedication to her craft combined with her openness with her fans. Even if you only know her from Facebook or Instagram, Marla keeps such an intimate connection with her fans on all platforms that it’s no wonder that she has been in such increasing demand around the convention circuit. In fact, it’s because of her fans that she will be traveling to Toronto early next year for the first time to be a guest at Toronto Comicon, sponsored by Fan Expo Canada.

And if all of that isn’t quite enough to get your fill of MCubed Cosplay, she has a YouTube channel that she has started posting semi-regular videos to ranging from cosplay music videos to convention vlogs. If you are looking for a cosplayer who puts out fantastic work & truly appreciates her fans, then you should definitely be following MCubed Cosplay!
