All Pokemon News You Need to Know This Week

After months of sitting through the pandemic wasteland that is the entertainment news cycle right now, we finally have some stuff to talk about: POKEMON!!!

Over the last two weeks, we have had a grand total of seven big stories come out of Nintendo & the Pokémon Company that have left fans with whiplash from experiencing the full gambit of emotions so quickly in a row. On the one hand, last week’s announcement of the long-awaited sequel to Pokémon Snap had fans screaming with joy from the digital rooftops after a decade of silence. However, on the other hand, this week’s reveal of the new MOBA, Pokémon United, left fans significantly underwhelmed. In fact, we haven’t seen such a hard turn by a beloved game’s fandom like this since the Diablo: Immortal incident at Blizzcon 2018.
