Your Brain & Heart Want To Talk To You by Deborah Chelette-Wilson

For this week's Spotlight Sunday segment, we are back with a fantastic book about child psychology called Your Brain & Heart Want To Talk To You: A Book for Counselors, Parents, and Educators of Children. The author, Deborah Chelette-Wilson, is a licensed professional counselor who has over 20 years of private practice experience. As a published author, she has inspired and empowered others to better their own lives & thrive. 

This book was written with the intent introduce adults and children to the complex functions of the mind through the use puppets representing parts of the brain and “heart”. If you have young children or are interested in working with young children on a regular basis, this is a fantastic introduction to the intricacies of mind of a child & how it changes as they grow.
