The Encouragement Letters by Shanna Spence

For this week's Spotlight Sunday segment, we’re bringing you historical fiction writer, Shanna Spence! Shanna sat down with us to talk about her book, The Encouragement Letters: a YA novel about William Cromwell, a young boy growing up in 1965 Manchester, England. During a time of great hardship for his town, William takes it upon himself to secretly help lift the spirits of everyone around him & bring new life into his home!

While this is Shanna’s first venture into the realm of historical fiction, fans of her book can look forward to more stories like this in the future! She is currently working on her second YA novel, which you can look for details about on her various social media pages.
