Captain Burton's Fun Time Sideshow Circus at A-Kon 2018
In our attempts to show off the fun that can be had at the various comic & anime-based conventions, it's important that we always come back to the fact that not all of the fun comes directly from the convention itself. These conventions act as a lightning rod for creativity & will attract some of the most fun & entertaining people to them! This year's A-Kon was no exception. Just outside the convention center, we had the chance to catch Sunday performance of Captain Burton's Fun Time Sideshow Circus! A small vaudevillian style troupe, these performers were an absolute delight to watch. The best part was, as a convention goer, if you didn't know they were performing already, like we didn't, you could easily stumble on this act and have it be a happy accident to add to your day of fun. It is things like this that make many of these conventions such an exciting experience. You never really know what you could see when you show up!
