Will the Entertainment Revolution Start with the Xbox Series X??

With the announcement of the specs for the new Xbox Series X, we found ourselves talking about what the implications are of this next console generation for the future of entertainment. If this were any other year, it would have been a short conversation that began & ended with us deciding if either console had any real advantage over the other (which almost doesn’t matter anymore, if we’re being honest). However, this isn’t JUST any other year. This is 2020: the year of the zombie apocalypse. In a time where social distancing is likely to stay as the norm for at least the near future, if not indefinitely, we find ourselves looking at new entertainment options in a vastly different light. And whether the big tech giants meant to do this or not, we have been seeing pieces of a much larger puzzle fall into place all year that will change the landscape of home entertainment as we know it.
