For those of you who did not already know, this year is Pokémon’s 25th anniversary. As with any franchise this large that survives 25 years in pop culture, fans are expecting a spectacular celebration to ring in the occasion. So far, Nintendo & the Pokémon Company have done their best to exceed expectations. However, with the fervor that we have already seen, we are not sure if anyone is truly ready for where this could end up going. Will this year be everything fans hope it will be? Will Nintendo let us all down after all the hype made us expect such wonderful things?
